Optimization of Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems for Power Generation: A Bibliometric Review

The use of Hybrid Power Generation Systems through renewable sources has been gaining prominence, since it is a way to reduce the dependence on fossil fuels, contributing reduction pollutant gas emissions environment. Due higher operational complexity, multiplicity options and constant improvement these units, how optimize systems still subject present studies. Considering attention that this topic received from academic community, challenges for mapping identifying relevant literature, article provides macroscopic view scientific literature Optimization Renewable Energy (HRES) energy generation, analysis bibliometric. research was developed using Web Science database, obtaining total 439 articles between 2010 2020, where results were interpreted VOSviewer software. showed number related publications gradually increasing, with India as leading country. University Malaya institution registers, 14 entries. Most fit into “Energy Fuels” category, magazines “Renewable Sustainable Reviews” Energy” most influential in terms publications, well United States China are countries collaboration. Besides, cited recurrence distribution keywords indicate future directions research. In short, study contributes valuable information researchers topic.
